Description

Isla lunges at the opponent with a front kick. The initial dash can be broken with Neo Geo D Button only during Neo Geo D Button or EX OK versions.

After the initial kick of the Neo Geo D Button or EX OK versions, Isla can lead into the Throwie A (スローウィー) line of attacks:

Attack
Description
Throwie A (スローウィーA(エイ))

Throwie A (スローウィーエイ)

Amanda follows up on the initial kick with an overhead slap. The EX OK version causes a Ground Bound on hit, allowing Isla to follow up with another attack.
Throwie B (スローウィーB(ビー))

Throwie B (スローウィービー)

Amanda follows up on the initial kick with a sweep, leading to a soft knockdown that the opponent can recover from. The EX OK version, however, leads to a hard knockdown, which can't be recovered from.
Throwie C (スローウィーC(シー))

Throwie C (スローウィーシー)

Amanda boosts Isla upwards. She can follow up with any of her Piecing specials from here.

Strategy

While Drips and Piecing get the job done in the air, this is the move that can mix the opponent up while Isla is on the ground. The Neo Geo B Button version is a good enough whiff punisher and combo ender (particularly after her far Neo Geo C Button on hit) that travels almost full-screen. It's also a solid follow-up after Isla's standing Blowback on hit, too.

The Neo Geo D Button and EX OK versions on the other hand are where the fun truly begins. Throwie A is a proper overhead that leads to a hard knockdown on hit and can also be used to surprise an overly defensive opponent. Additionally, if done after EX OK To Front, this move causes a Ground Bound into whatever combo of your choice while still retaining the overhead properties.

Throwie B on the other hand is a proper low follow-up that has to be blocked crouching and, while the normal version can be recovered from, the version performed after EX OK To Front can't, since that's also a hard knockdown.

Throwie C is where the move truly shines, as this goes straight into any version of Piecing, allowing Isla to keep the opponent on their toes by guessing which of the moves she'll use on hit, if any. Or if she'll just go for the safer option and cross up with jumping Neo Geo D Button. Additionally, note that Throwie C and Drips Forward share the same animation.

Worth noting that regardless of which version of this move you plan on using, you can cancel into Wild Style seamlessly on hit for even more damage.
