Fill-In (フィル・イン) is one of Isla's Special Moves in the King of Fighters series, first appearing alongside her in The King of Fighters XV.
Description
Isla commands Amanda to toss a spray can downwards. The button pressed determines the angle in which the can falls. From neutral range, the
version has Amanda toss the can at a steep that just barely misses the opponent's feet. The
version on the other hand sees Amanda tossing the spray can right in the opponent's face.
Strategy
A very unique fireball, for a move of its kind, this one is actually quite versatile. In addition to its intended purpose of space control, Isla can also use it as an anti-hop tool due to the odd trajectory Amanda tosses the can in. Furthermore, upon hitting the ground, the cans still have an active hitbox and can trade with normal height fireballs, like Cross Cutter or Venom Strike. The
version has Amanda throw out two spray cans at once, allowing Isla to control the screen even further.
It's worth noting that while the cans are rolling, the spray can still has a lingering hitbox, allowing Isla to control the space in front of her.
Trivia
- "Fill-Ins" (also known as "Bombs", "Throw ups", or "Throwies") are pieces of graffiti that's either filled in a rush, or a solid fill.
