I-Slasher (Ｉ（アイ）スラッシャー) is one of Leona Heidern's Special Moves in the King of Fighters series, first appearing in The King of Fighters '97.

Description

Leona flips backwards before bringing her hands to the back of her head and then moving them forward, throwing out a crescent-shaped projectile that moves slowly forward before boomeranging back to Leona who catches it.

Strategy

The I-Slasher is infamous for how little usage it has. Due to how slow it is, the projectile itself is easy to block. While this special move is happening, Leona herself is locked into the animation, preventing her from being able to block or attack an opponent until the animation is over.

Trivia

• The way Leona fires an I-Slasher from her head is similar to the way Ultraseven from the namesake series throws his Eye Slugger out of his head.
